Sunday, April 21, 2013 found us at church in Talara. President Sancaranco and his family have moved to Trujillo and so he needed to be released as the District President and a new president called. President Heche was called to serve as the new Talara District President. He is a baker by profession and somehow he knew it was Chad's birthday. After all of our meetings were finished he brought out a big birthday cake with a sparkling candle we found a knife and some paper towels and divied it up amongst all of us, it was very good - it helped that we were very hungry. It was so very thoughtful of the Heche family, we are going to enjoy getting to know them better. We will miss the Sancarancos!
