June 2013 - Puerto Paita & Querecotillo

We took our "guests" all over the mission.  Here are some pictures of our time in Puerto Paita and Querecotillo.  In Puerto Paita we were excited to watch them load the big ships that come into the port.  There is a lot of fish, mangos, bananas, pineapples etc... that are exported here.  We see Dole shipping containers along with many others, that's just a name we recognize.  Any way it was fun to watch for a bit.

We were so excited to finally get one of our missionaries who has been waiting for a visa from Guatemala for several months, Hna. Gomez we are so glad to have you here in our mission!
This is the statue that welcomes you into Querecotillo.  This little town is surrounded by bananas, coconuts, rice a little bit of everything I think.
Love the towering coconut trees, we were lucky enough to see a man shimmying up to toss down the coconuts, kind of cool!
