February 2013 - Kitchens!

 

One of the bigger projects we've undertaken is arranging for our missionaries to prepare their own breakfasts and dinners in their rooms.  We needed to purchase kitchen supplies for all rooms and our office elders did a fantastic job, we couldn't have done it without them.  The response has been so positive.  The missionaries are excited to have a little more say in what they eat and also have more time to study and plan.  The sweet pensionistas I believe are celebrating, they have had a tremendous job in feeding missionaries three times a day.  We are so grateful to them for their service, they will continue to prepare the noon meal so they still are an important part of our mission.

 OK, here is a random foto.  Across the street from the mission office there is this house that has this dog that has a thing for roofs.  Actually quite a few dogs here like to hang out on the roof and it kind of freaks me out to be walking along and all of a sudden you hear this dog barking crazily above your head.  I am always afraid they are going to leap and attack.  Chad said they are too lazy and I am safe.  Couldn't resist taking our neighbor dog's picture.

 Back to the kitchens, we had an hour of craziness and then it was over and done.
