The most exciting thing about October is the fun visit we had with Tyler, Elise and family! We had so much fun with them and their week went really fast. We explored the market together looking for mangos and other yummy fruits. Tyler was in heaven trying all the yogurt flavors we have and of course eating mangos. Lily thought they were pretty good too. We took several drives around the Piura area to see the sights. We went to Querecotillo to look at all the bananas, rice, coconuts etc... We wandered around Puerto Paita also to see the "Nephi boats". We were able to spend a couple of fun days at Punta Sal. We played on the beach, jumped in waves, looked for sea shells, dug in the sand, watched for whales, ate yummy food, swam in the pool and watched beautiful sunsets. It was a great time together. Elise and Tyler also taught their kids I Am A Child of God in spanish and so on their last day here they sang it for the sister missionaries in our Sister Training meeting. They did a fantastic job and it brought a special spirit to our meeting. We were sad to see them go back home to Indiana. We made some wonderful memories.
Another October happening was not so fun. We had two men come to our home, and rob us. Definitely not fun. So now I have no pictures on the computer of our fun times with the Pendletons. But Tyler did make a cd of his fotos for me before they left so all was not lost. Life is never dull here, always an adventure.
